Bowing to my sushi... :)
On Friday night, we went to Bridgestreet to eat dinner and watch a movie. We ate inside the Monaco at their restaurant which was lovely. They have a new menu that has new items on it that the picky eaters would like. Hamburgers, pizza, etc. I had sushi and it was phenomenal! I ate it so fast that when our waitress came back after initially bringing our food, she said, "Wow...did you like it?" Excuse me for being a fast eater! We then went to see when in Rome, which was okay, but not just amazing. It seems to me that Hollywood is running out of story lines so they are recycling ideas from the past. Don't get me wrong, the movie was cute, but not one I would see again. We both got to go to our favorite stores, David went to the Apple Store, and I went to the Gourmet Chef store. All in all it was a fantastic night!

Ready....Aim....Holy CRAP!!!
This weekend, we headed off to the shooting range on Sunday afternoon. It was so beautiful outside, so we stayed out most of the weekend. As most of you know, I am on the quest to shoot my first deer, so Ray brought the rifle out that I used during our first hunt for a little practice. Now, if you recall from the deer hunting story, I wasn't able to shoot anything, so this was my first actual time of firing this particular gun. He was very good at explaining everything I needed to do, and I listened to his every word. The anticipation was killing me, I was so nervous and thought I would surely be knocked down by this powerful rifle. Then, my foot cramps right before I am about to fire, so that didn't help the situation either. Long story short, after I fired it the first time, it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. And I was 3 for 3 on hitting my target, which was a coke bottle. Oh, and let me get on my soap box for a second. Even if you are not interested in hunting or anything like that, everyone, especially women, need to know how to shoot a gun and feel comfortable with it. You never know when you will need that skill....or when you need to get your husband back in line. :)

What a beautiful weekend!!!
Wow, praise the LORD for this wonderful weekend we had! It was so nice to have great weather for a change! Friday night, we went to Maria Bonita's in Athens before going to the Pierce Boy's musical.
You know, I totally forget living in Decatur and eating their and Huntsville mainly, that you can smoke in restaurants in Athens. I almost died!! It is so pleasant to go out and not have to smell smoke while you are eating!! I digress...so Saturday, we ran a ton of errands, and then headed off to Buzzy's house for a little fun with the pups! Now Marley and Wilson have only met once before and it didn't go too well...well, I guess I should clarify that, Wilson was so excited to have a playmate, that I think he scared Marley. So we worried how they would do together on an extended play date. Well, they are like long lost friends now! They had a blast. We went and walked behind Buzzy's house at the Wildlife Refuge for a couple hours, played ball with the dogs and just relaxed. It was so nice!! Here are some shots from the day!
The sun was really bright and David told us to shut our eyes and when he said "3" to open them...he got a little trigger happy....and I don't know what I was doing. :)
Much better!!
The boys and their pups!

Worms, worms, everywhere!
A couple months ago, we made a trip to the Bass Pro shop up in Nashville. Oh yeah, you remember that one, when we stayed at the Opryland Hotel, and I had the stomach virus. Yeah, that trip. Anyways, I got myself a new tackle box.
Well I got it home, and I really liked it, but I felt like it was missing something....so I had this added...
If you look closely enough, you will realize that the letters are in the shape of worms. When I took the bag in to be monogrammed, the lady said, "I have the perfect font for you that I have never been able to use before and its called WORMS!" Totally fitting for my new bag! A quick trip to Academy this past weekend has filled my bag and I am ready to reel them in! See you on the river! :)

Valentine's Day 2010
I must brag on my husband today....he gets an A+ for Valentine's Day.
He came home Friday with beautiful flowers before we headed out to the Famous Couples Party that night. Then on Saturday, he being the smarty pants that he is, had already made reservations for us earlier in the week at Macaroni Grille. Thank goodness he did...when we arrived for our 6:00 reservation, the wait was already an hour and 45 minutes....if we had not had a reservation, this girl would have headed to Krystal's. Anyways, he totally surprised me this year....as you can see...
Well, you can't really tell what it is, but it is the most BEAUTIFUL necklace....
Was I good enough this year for diamonds...I didn't think so, but I guess he has a soft spot for me! :) Our conversation was interesting regarding the necklace....
David: Well, I hope you like it.
Anna: Of course I like it, it is beautiful...why would I not like it?
David: Well, no offense or anything, but most of the jewelry you wear is junk
Anna: Well, that is because I don't have any nice jewelry! :)
Anyways, I gave him is gift, or rather, a giftcard for his gift. He is getting an Apple Ipad in March when they release...
Being the loving wife I am, I tried with all my might to flirt with one of the Apple Nerds in the store at Bridgestreet to get him an actual Ipad...Here is what happened...
Nerd: Can I help you miss?
Anna: Sure, I would like an Apple Ipad please (insert smile, head tilt and touching his arm)
Nerd: Miss, I am sorry, but they don't release them until March.
Anna: Oh, I'm suuuure you have one in the back...run back there and grab me one please.... (Insert bigger smile and head tilt)
Nerd: Miss, we do not have any here at the store, I can assure you
Anna: Well, then can you tell me where I can get one? Surely there is some sort of underground nerd network, I mean, place where I can get one?
Nerd: Miss, I assure you that there is not
Anna: Well I guess I will just have to get a giftcard. Can you bring me a brochure or something with the picture on it so I can put it with his giftcard?
Nerd: Miss, we are a GREEN COMPANY and do not print out promotional material
Anna: Well, you have been no help to me today, just give me my giftcard please. :)
The moral of this story...some nerds are oblivious to the female charm... :) On a serious note though, we had a wonderful Valentine's Day together...one that will surely be remembered. I know most people gripe about how stupid Valentine's Day is and what a waste of money it is, but I don't think there is anything wrong with setting aside one day a year that is special to tell the one you love, well, that you love them! :)

Famous Couples Party
On Friday night, we went to a Famous Couples Valentine's Party which was an absolute hoot! David and I were Jon and Kate Gosselin. Funny thing, I tried to order one of her wigs online, and they were sold out....EVERYWHERE!! Who knew that backwards mullet was such a hit! Anyways, I ended up finding one here in Decatur at Party Central so we did get to go as them. We had our baby carriage with 8 baby dolls in it, and we fought all night long. (In character I mean...) Lee and Jana won the best costume, they were Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife Beth, and boy did they fit the part. I actually did not get a picture of them together, but below is a picture of Dog handcuffing Jon (David) Sounds like that could probably happen with his recent behavior! Anyways, it was a lovely evening and we had an awesome time! Thanks so much to our hostesses!!!
Tim Tebow and Urban Meyer..

Get Me Home!
About day 3 of vacation, I am ready to go home. Not that I am not having a wonderful time or anything like that, but David and I have come to the conclusion that we are just homebodies. Don't get me wrong, we had an awesome time, but we missed our pup, and our bed. (Yes, I did say we missed our dog, throw up if you must) Anyways, here are some final shots from the trip. This one was on our last day....it was FREEZING!!! But I was determined to be outside, so we found a cozy little spot outside that was partially blocked from the wind. Oh, did I mention that we nap like 4 times a day when we are on a cruise....I think this was nap 2 of the day...

Cozumel Day!!
On Saturday of our cruise, we were in Cozumel. We really ran the extreme's on weather for this trip. There was everything from rain, to cold, to warm, to hot. So we got it all! We arrived in port Saturday morning and got off the boat around 8:45..
Then we headed out for quite the stressful day... :)
We went to an all inclusive resort and it was really nice. We had an authentic Mexican Lunch....
A little sea fun....
Then on for a little more relaxing!
David met some friends....
And then we sailed off into the sunset...

Day 1
So we drove down Wednesday night and stayed with Bret Bret and Lawren. We also got to meet baby Lucy for the first time which was great! She loved her Aunt Anna and Uncle David, especially since we spoke in Mexican accents to her the whole time. Isn't she a cutie!!
Then we headed on board (see previous post) and sailed off into the sunset. The first night we went to dinner and were sitting at this large table that would seat either 6 or 8 people, I can't remember now, so we were excited about meeting our table mates. Well, they never came...any of them. And for the rest of the cruise, they never came. So finally our waiter tells us that we can move to a 2 person table, I guess so we don't look like losers. However, this was on the last night, so we sat by ourselves for 3 nights. :(
Okay, so I know this is a little goofy, but one of my favorite things about a cruise is the towel animals. I literally can't wait to get back to the room at night to see what kind of towel animal we have....I was not disappointed...
The next day we took a little tour around the boat, played some putt-putt and just relaxed. I would like to note that I did win the putt-putt game which never happens. I guess the whole ship rocking back and forth corrected my normally off shots. :)
