Well this year, I was all by my lonesome for Easter. David was down at the Cape for the Space Shuttle launch and so he missed all the Easter festivities. I think I may be the only adult still that thinks it is absolutely necessary to have a new outfit for Easter. When I talked about my Easter dresses (I was trying to decide which one to wear) coming in, people looked at me like I was goofy..."Why do you get new clothes for Easter??" My response..."Why wouldn't I? Oh, and I'm pretty sure somewhere in the Bible it says thou shalt wear new clothes on Easter... :) Anyways, we had a great day, went to the Higginbotham's then out to Mamoo's. Here are some shots from the day!

i get a new dress still too. it is fun :) love the girl's dresses in this picture. the awesome black and white dots with the green tie and the pink flower black and white. i wish i had those dresses in adult versions
I still do all new clothes on Easter too! It is so exciting. Thankfully, the Easter hats are a thing of the past. Steven looked pretty dapper I thought! Emily and Lauren look just like Judy! I cannot believe how grown they are! Bryce has started asking now when Steve gets home where his goody bag is! He loves them more than any of us ever had!
I still get a new dress every year and I make sure Donnie has a new outfit. Of course, Katie Lee gets one too. You should read the last page of Southern Living for a list of all those things that you should keep on Sundays. Maybe it is not in the Bible but I believe that it is part of being southern. :) Love the dress by the way.
