LSWHO???

Saturday was another eventful day at the Capstone....another nail biter if you will, but in the end it was all fine and dandy for the Tide fans. We started off the day with our usual tailgating group which was a lot of fun. There were so many people in Tuscaloosa this weekend, it was absolutely crazy! I think that is the most people I have ever seen down there, even counting Auburn vs. Alabama games. So after a couple hours of tailgating, we made our way into the stadium...with my bag full of goodies. Oh, that is another benefit of being an old person now...they rarely check your bags closely, so you can sneak in all kinds of food. I chose for my menu during the game a bag of chex mix, 7 cheddar muffins, snickers bars, a water and a sprite. Now, back in the old days in the student section, they would all but strip search you to see if you were sneaking in booze. Well, not in the senior citizens section...nope....I guess if the most dangerous thing I bring in is chex mix, then the safety of the other fans is not in jeopardy too much! Here are some shots from the day..

Oh yeah....there is a good story behind this last photo. This guy, the one passed out, sat EXACTLY like that for the entire game. We couldn't figure out why he was bleeding, but one of the guys with him told us that he had been punched in the face by an LSU fan on the way into the stadium. I am sure that his alcohol induced state had nothing to do with that altercation....Roll Tide anyways drunk dude!
