Well Halloween morning started off bright and early....
After a 20 minute search for some sort of breakfast food before the run, Cristi and I finally settled on some gas station delicacies to do the trick. We headed back to the hotel to get ready for the run, do a little stretching and a LOT of praying. Here we are pre-race...
David decided to take his picture in the "group" he would be running in....if he would have been running in the race...
And 13.1 miles later...here we are....
Seriously though, that race was intense. David made fun of me and Cristi when we finished because we both proclaimed that the ENTIRE thing was up hill....it was like we never went downhill the whole time. He and Eric, Cristi's husband, quickly told us that was impossible...well, they also didn't run the thing either!! All in all it was a great day, and I can check that off my list to do before I die. Moving on to the next goal....shooting a deer!
Here are a few more shots from the day!
